Amber Morning Flight

Fog at Broadkill Beach and Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Milton is
a relatively uncommon event. To have the morning sun burn its way through the fog and create an amber hue on the landscape is rare. In the midst of this scene,
I happened upon an unsuspecting heron who promptly took flight while squawking its displeasure. I chased the bird with my camera and captured the three events — fog/amber landscape/heron in flight — all in a single, special moment.
This is that image. This is that moment.
