51st Annual Outdoor Fine Art & Fine Craft Show

The Rehoboth Art League’s signature summer event, the Outdoor Show, returns to our historic Henlopen Acres campus in 2024 to celebrate its 51st year. More than 100 artists and artisans from around the country will display and sell their fine art and fine crafts amidst the Rehoboth Art League’s 3.5+ acre wooded campus, just blocks from the busy downtown Rehoboth Avenue in coastal Delaware.

No Boundaries: The Art of Printmaking Today

Today, the American Color Print Society is a national non-profit corporation with the following purpose:  To promote and foster original graphic art; to encourage and promote exhibitions of original color prints; to educate art students and the public about the varied techniques of original color printmaking.

Bus Trip: Mt. Cuba Center

Join the Rehoboth Art League for a trip to Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin, DE to experience native mid-Atlantic foliage. Mt. Cuba is a nonprofit botanical center whose woodland gardens produce some of the most spectacular displays of wildflowers in the region. The day trip includes a guided tour, time to roam the botanical gardens, and lunch at the institution.

Rehoboth Arts Festival

Saturday, May 18, 2024 10am - 5pm

The Rehoboth Art League and the City of Rehoboth Beach have partnered again to present the City’s arts festival on Saturday, May 18, from 10am-5pm, in the downtown's picturesque Grove Park, where artists will showcase and sell their work. The event will fill Rehoboth Beach with tents of original, quality artwork, where RAL member artists can sell their work.

Against the Tyranny of Time is an exhibit of art objects related to a two-year struggle during and after Covid isolation concerning despair, the resistance to that, hope that energizes resistance, and ways to break free from the violence that the cycle of Despair-Resistance-Hope engenders.

Temre uses the calendar around which to develop 12 abstract paintings that are made in gratitude for the natural world. Temre describes her creative process as similar to the experience of communing with nature – the peacefulness, stillness, and a glimpse of the interconnection of all things.

74th Annual Cottage Tour

Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10, 2024 10 am - 3pm

The Cottage Tour Committee, a group of hard-working volunteers, has worked hard to vet and secure another very special selection of local homes that showcase the best of the area's art and design. The homes on this year's tour offer a variety of landscapes, interior and architectural designs, ranging from historically significant to contemporary and sleek. Some homes have quite an evolving history and many homeowners showcase memories, artwork, and collections in creative ways.  Tickets are now available!

The Rehoboth Art League presents more than two dozen solo, group, and special art exhibitions each year in our six galleries located throughout our 3+ acre wooded campus.

EDUCATION

With more than 150 classes offered each year, our instructors’ offerings include mediums such as painting, drawing, pottery, fiber art, mosaic, creative writing, and much more.

EVENTS

Arts-driven events can be found at the Rehoboth Art League year-round, and highlight the best of our members’ artwork as well as notable art and design of the area.
