Half Full, 125 Second St., 645-8877, halffulllewes.com. This cozy little restaurant in downtown Lewes serves nine styles of homemade pizza and a rotating list of wines and beers. Open Wednesday through Friday at 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at noon. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Kindle, 111 Bank St., 645-7887, kindlerestaurant.com. Kindle offers seasonal American fare with a bit of a French influence. Serving dinner Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m., Lunch is available Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Striper Bites, 107 Savannah Road, 645-4657, striperbites.com. A “nautical bistro” that evokes a blend of the Northeast and Key West. Striper Bites features seafood, chicken, steaks, sushi, and salads. Open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner starting at 11:30 a.m. Closed Sunday.

Big Fish Grill, 20298 Route 1 (quarter-mile south of entrance to Rehoboth Beach), 227-FISH, bigfishgrill.com. A locals’ favorite, Big Fish Grill offers a diverse menu featuring hand-selected fresh seafood along with steaks and pasta in a casual atmosphere. Also, the adjoining Big Fish Seafood Market offers fresh seafood and catering services and has opened a banquet room to host private events.
Bluecoast Seafood Grill & Raw Bar, 30115 Veteran’s Way (in the Rehoboth Gateway shopping center), 278-7395, bluecoastrehoboth.com. SoDel Concepts' Rehoboth Bluecoast is a fresh take on the original Bethany-area seafood house, offering “coastal classics” as well as modern twists like crab carbonara and lobster cavatappi. In addition to a spacious inside dining room, there’s an outdoor patio with fire pit, bar and small acoustic stage.
Chinatown Buffet, 18701 Route 1, 644-2688. Located just south of The Movies at Midway, Chinatown Buffet offers an extensive buffet with 100-plus items. Serving the Eastern Shore for more than two decades with all-you-can-eat seafood, steak, and a cook-to-order grill.

Located just south of The Movies at Midway, Crust & Craft serves classic-style wood-fired Neopolitan pizza, homemade pasta, and a wide selection of local craft beer. The newest edition to the SoDel Concepts family, this restaurant’s focus is on preparing flavorful, handcrafted cuisine.
Matt’s Fish Camp Lewes, 34401 Tenley Court, 644-2267, mattsfishcamplewes.com. This location features a raw bar and many of the menu favorites from the original Matt’s Fish Camp near Bethany, including its signature colossal crab cakes, fried Ipswich clams, lobster rolls and Matt’s Fish Camp stew. Thompson Island is an independent craft brewery featuring a wood-fired grill, fried chicken, shareable appetizers and fresh made-on-site beer. Back Porch Cafe, 59 Rehoboth Ave., 227-3674, backporchcafe.com. Nestled in a former hotel built in 1900, this quiet refuge from the bustle of Rehoboth Avenue has a regularly changing menu. Celebrating its 43rd season, the restaurant is known for its longtime commitment to slow food and its use of local resources.

Using fresh seafood sourced exclusively from the Chesapeake and Maine regions, this companion to next door’s Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats features a casual maritime theme, dishes with an off-centered take on some coastal favorites, as well as cocktails crafted with scratch-made spirits from Dogfish Head Distilling Co.

It also features signature off-centered ales, brewpub exclusives and small-batch spirits.
Kiwi’s Tiki Hut, 101 North Boardwalk at the Atlantic Sands, 567-2855, kiwisrb.com. Features open-air dining on the oceanfront, with an island-inspired menu, including such items as kalula pork nachos, kumu nui shrimp, a moana mahi sandwich, and tiki tacos of the day. Voted Best Italian Restaurant Downstate, Lupo features classic coastal Italian cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients. This newest addition to the Big Fish Restaurant Group, in the former site of Ristorante Zebra, features some of Zebra’s favorite dishes on its menu of coastal Italian cuisine. Sazio also offers Big Fish-inspired seafood and raw bar items, as well as “steak house style” options for meat-lovers.
Stingray Restaurant, 59 Lake Ave., 227-6476, stingrayrestaurant.com. Known for its sushi and sashimi, made with fresh seafood and local produce, Stingray also offers a fusion of Asian and Latino dishes, such as wok-fired teriyaki chicken and tempura mahi tacos, as well as an expansive list of sake, wine and cocktails. In addition to its large indoor dining room, Stingray has outdoor patio seating. Open Tuesday through Sunday year-round.

Overlooking the boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean in the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel, Victoria’s offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch with an emphasis on regional American cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere. Woody’s Dewey Beach, 1904 Route 1, 260-9945, deweybeachbar.com. Best known for its large, meaty crab cakes, Woody’s also offers a wide-ranging full menu that includes such items as sesame-encrusted tuna, a “hippie-dip wrap,” pulled pork tacos, raw bar items, soups, salads and loads of appetizers. Bethany Beach and vicinity
