Screamin' Eagle

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to visit for the wide variety of wildlife, from frogs and foxes to warblers and bald eagles. In this photograph, the eagle on the left had just displaced another eagle that was perched there, and was making a suitable announcement. It’s very gratifying to be able to spend enough time at Bombay Hook to feel the rhythm of nature and be connected to it in some way. And every photograph I take is with the intention of sharing that experience.
