Spending hours fishing on Broadkill Beach is normal for us. We thoroughly enjoy fishing, and as every fisherman knows, we continually envision hooking the “big fish” and can sometimes find ourselves mesmerized by the waters of the bay.On this particular Fourth of July evening as we fished, I happened to turn around and to my surprise I found this breathtaking sunset taking over the sky right behind us! I enjoy sunsets because no two are ever the same, each is unique in its own right. The vision was a reminder for me, not to focus too heavily on anything in any single direction without noticing the beauty that’s all around us all the time!
