Picture Perfect Day

From the July 2020 issue
The day that my husband and I were volunteering on the tours to the iconic Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse, the weather was picture-perfect, which does not always happen on the Delaware Bay.
The seas were calm, and the breeze was moderate, which was a good scenario for a photographer.
I was on the transport boat we use for our tours. As we were waiting to pick up the last tour of the day, I heard the seagulls and saw that their path would go in front of the lighthouse. I was able to include the people on each level, the gulls, and a catamaran on the back side of the breakwater wall. I was thrilled to capture this wonderful moment in time.
